ASS to SRT subtitle converter
Play fansub or Aegisub subtitles on a TV, in a video editor or on a site that only takes SRT.
Accepts
ASS/SSA subtitles (.ass, .ssa). Other file types are not converted on this page; the File Converter hub takes every kind it knows.
How to convert
- The Dialogue lines of the [Events] section are read in the order of their Format line and sorted by start time. Comment lines are left out.
- Italic, bold and underline become <i>, <b> and <u>; positions, colours, karaoke and other effects are dropped, and \N becomes a line break. Shift the timing if you need to.
Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs in your browser, and the file is never sent to ITpris Verktyg or to any other server.
