EPUB to TXT converter
Read a book on any device, search it, quote from it or feed it to a text tool: the words of the book, in order, with nothing else.
Accepts
EPUB book (.epub). Other file types are not converted on this page; the File Converter hub takes every kind it knows.
How to convert
- The book is opened like a ZIP file and its chapters are read in the order of its spine; the table of contents page is left out.
- Each chapter is turned into text with line breaks at paragraphs and headings. Pictures become their description in [brackets].
Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs in your browser, and the file is never sent to ITpris Verktyg or to any other server.
Questions
Can I convert a book from a store?
Only if it has no DRM. Books locked with DRM keep their text encrypted, so the page says so and converts nothing.
Which EPUB versions are read?
EPUB 2 and EPUB 3, the two formats e-book stores and Calibre write.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, on this device. Your files are not sent to ITpris Verktyg or to any other server.
