Turn a sheet of settings, translations or test data into YAML that people can read.
Accepts
Excel workbook (.xlsx), OpenDocument spreadsheet (.ods). Other file types are not converted on this page; the File Converter hub takes every kind it knows.
How to convert
- The workbook is read by the same spreadsheet reader as Spreadsheets, and each row becomes a record with the column names as keys. Formulas give the values Excel saved.
- The records are then written as YAML. Choose Every sheet in step 1 for a key per sheet.
Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs in your browser, and the file is never sent to ITpris Verktyg or to any other server.
Questions
Do numbers stay numbers?
Yes. Numbers and true or false stay typed, and dates become text such as 2026-10-24.
Can I keep the file made in between?
Yes. Open Options and tick Also keep the in-between files: it is listed with the result.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Both steps run in your browser, on this device. Your files are not sent to ITpris Verktyg or to any other server.
