Getting started with CRM
CRM keeps your customers, where each one is in your sales pipeline, and when to get back to them. It shares its customers with Contacts, Quotes, Orders and Invoices.
Add a customer
Pick a customer in the list to see everything about them on the right: contact details, tags and groups, the pipeline stage, notes, and their orders and invoices. Import from Contacts brings in the contacts list saved in Files.
- On the Customers tab, choose Add customer.
- Fill in the Name, and any phone numbers, email addresses and Company details.
- Under Follow-up, pick the Pipeline stage and a Follow-up date.
- Choose Save.
Work the pipeline
The Pipeline tab has one column per stage: Lead, Contacted, Customer and Lost. Drag a card to another column, or use its Move button. Each move is saved at once.
Follow up on time
The Follow-ups tab lists every customer with a follow-up date: overdue first, then today, then later. Choose Done when you have been in touch; it clears the date.
Schedule on a customer adds a call or meeting to Calendar, and it shows here too.
Tags and groups
Tags are coloured labels and groups are named sets of customers. Use Manage beside them to create, rename or delete them, and pick one in the sidebar to filter the list.
