Make a quote or estimate with a PDF
Price a job for a customer, send a clean PDF, and keep track of what was sent, accepted, declined or expired. Quotes runs in your browser, with no account.
How to do it
- Choose New quote, then pick a customer or add one with New customer.
- Add a line for each item or task: description, Qty, Unit price, Tax % and Discount %.
- Set the date and Valid until, add notes such as terms or what is not included, and save.
- Choose Export PDF and send the file to your customer.
- Choose Mark as sent. When they answer, choose Mark accepted or Decline…
A draft or sent quote that passes its valid-until date shows as Expired in the list, so stale prices are easy to see. The PDF uses the same five templates as invoices, with your company block from Admin.

Questions
Is a quote the same as an estimate?
Here they are the same document: a priced offer with a valid-until date. Call it either in your notes; the PDF is headed Quote.
Can I change a quote after sending it?
A sent quote can go back to draft to change it. An accepted quote is final and read only, and a declined one can be reopened.
Where are my quotes kept?
In this browser on this device, with your customers and products. Nothing is uploaded. Download a full backup from the Data tab to keep a copy.
