Resizer · free, in your browser
Resize a video to 1080p, 720p or any size
Shrink a 4K clip to 1080p for sharing, make a video smaller for email, or fit it to a social size. Resizer re-encodes it on your device and keeps the sound.
How to do it
- Drop the video on the page (any format your browser plays).
- Long edge is set to 1920, which makes a 4K or 1440p landscape video 1080p. Use 1280 for 720p, or pick a Target size.
- Choose the Video format (MP4 with H.264 or WebM), the Video quality and the frame rate.
- Press Resize all and wait for the progress bar, then download the result.
Your files stay on this device: Resizer runs in your browser, with no upload, no account and no watermark.
Questions
Is the sound kept?
Yes, when your browser can decode the audio track. If it cannot, the row says the result has no sound.
Which browsers can resize video?
Browsers with WebCodecs, such as current Chrome and Edge. Where it is missing, the page says so and pictures still work.
Is there a size limit?
Video can be resized up to 8192 pixels a side. Long clips take a while, since every frame is drawn and encoded on your device.
Is the video uploaded?
No. Decoding, resizing and encoding all happen in your browser.
