Watermark guide

Getting started with Watermark

Watermark puts your text or logo on many photos, videos and PDFs at once. The files are read in your browser and never uploaded.

Open Watermark

Add your files

  1. Drop files on the page, or click Open files…. Pictures (PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, GIF, SVG, HEIC), videos (MP4, MOV, WebM) and PDFs can be mixed.
  2. To try it, click Try it with 4 sample photos.
  3. The open file shows in the middle, with the watermark on it, so you can see the result as you change it.

Set up the watermark

The setup is saved in this browser, with the logo unless it is very large. My watermarks keeps named watermarks that show in Image Editor, Video Editor, PDF Editor and Workflows too. Reset to defaults starts over.

  1. The watermark starts with one text layer. Type your text in Text and pick a Font, or press + Logo… and choose a PNG, SVG, JPEG, WebP or GIF file.
  2. Set the Text size or Logo width (a percentage of the shorter side) and the Opacity.
  3. Click one of the nine Position buttons, or tick Repeat across the whole picture.
  4. Rotation, Space from the edge, Colour and Soft shadow behind the text fine-tune it. Press + Text or + Logo… again for more layers.

Watermark and download

Files are grouped by shape, such as landscape or portrait. Tick Own setting for this group to give one group its own position, size and opacity. Videos take longer: the video engine is downloaded once, after a question.

  1. Click the Watermark button at the foot of the panel (it says how many files). Each file says Watermarked and gets the name of its new file.
  2. Click Download for one file, or Download all (ZIP) for all of them.

Tip: If you change the setup after watermarking, click the Watermark button again to update the results.
