Video Editor · free, in your browser
Merge videos into one
Drop your clips into Video Editor and they land on the timeline one after another. Reorder them, trim the ends, add a transition between them, and export a single video.
How to do it
- Open Video Editor and drop your video clips on the page, or press Ctrl+I to import them.
- In a new project the clips go straight onto the timeline in a row. Otherwise drag them from the media bin.
- Drag clips to change the order, and drag their ends to trim them.
- If you like, open Effects and drag a transition, such as a cross dissolve, onto a cut.
- Press Export, choose MP4 or WebM and a size, then Download the joined video.
Your files stay on this device: Video Editor runs in your browser, with no upload, no account and no watermark.
Questions
Do the clips need the same size?
No. The first import sets the sequence size and every clip is fitted into that frame. Pick another size in Export if you want, from Phone 1080×1920 to 4K.
Is the video uploaded?
No. Clips are stored in your browser and the export is encoded on your device, so your footage never leaves it.
How long can the videos be?
There is no fixed limit, but the sound is decoded into memory, so very long files (over about 40 minutes) are heavy on an ordinary computer.
Which files can I add?
Video your browser can play, plus audio and images. MP4 and MOV files get frame-exact decoding; other formats are read by seeking the video.
