DNG converter: RAW photos to JPG, PNG or WebP

Turn DNG files from a phone or camera, and RAW files from Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and others, into pictures any app opens. Many files at once, on your device.

Open File Converter

How to do it

  1. Drop one or more RAW files on File Converter. The preview shows the camera's embedded JPEG straight away.
  2. Pick RAW to JPG, RAW to PNG or RAW to WebP.
  3. Choose the white balance, the exposure (−2 to +2 EV) and the highlights, and a width or height to resize.
  4. Convert, then download each picture or all of them as a ZIP.

File Converter reads Canon CR2, CR3 and CRW, Nikon NEF, Sony ARW, Adobe DNG, Fujifilm RAF, Olympus ORF, Panasonic RW2, Pentax PEF, Samsung SRW, Leica RWL and Hasselblad 3FR. Pages for the common pairs: CR2, CR3, NEF, ARW, DNG and RAF to JPG.

Your files stay on this device: File Converter runs in your browser, with no upload, no account and no watermark.

Questions

What is downloaded, and when?

The RAW engine, LibRaw compiled to run in your browser (about 1.4 MB, LGPL-2.1 or CDDL-1.0). The page asks first, the first time a RAW file is developed. It is checked against its SHA-256 and kept by the browser, so it downloads once.

Are my RAW files uploaded?

No. The RAW file is read and developed in your browser, on this device. Nothing is sent to ITpris Verktyg or to anyone else.

What if I say no to the download?

The conversion uses the JPEG preview the camera stored in the file, and the status line says so.

Can it make a DNG from my RAW files?

No. It writes JPG, PNG and WebP pictures. Converting to DNG needs a tool such as the Adobe DNG Converter.
