How to do it

1. Download the statement from your bank as OFX, QFX, Money or Quicken format.
2. Drop the file on the page. OFX 1.x (SGML) and OFX 2.x (XML) are both read.
3. Bank statement to Excel (XLSX) is chosen for you. Choose Convert, then Download.
4. The Transactions sheet has one row per line; the Statement sheet has the account, the period and the closing balance.

Questions

Is QFX the same as OFX?

QFX is the name Quicken uses for OFX files, sometimes with a few extra tags. They are read the same way.

Why is there no opening balance?

OFX files give the closing (ledger) balance only, so the Statement sheet says the opening balance is not in the file.

Is my bank file uploaded?

No. The file is read by the page in your browser and the result is made on this device. Nothing is sent to ITpris Verktyg or to anyone else.
