3MF to STL converter
Some printers and older tools only take STL. Drop a 3MF and get its parts as one STL.
Accepts
3MF 3D model (.3mf). Other file types are not converted on this page.
How to convert
- Drop the .3mf file. Every object on its build plate is read.
- Choose binary or ASCII STL. 3MF and STL both count in millimetres for printing, so the size usually needs no change.
- After converting, the status line gives the triangle and vertex counts, the size, and what the new format could not hold.
Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs in your browser, and the file is never sent to ITpris Verktyg or to any other server.
Questions
Are colours and print settings kept?
No. STL holds only the shape, so colours, materials and slicer settings in the 3MF are left out.
Are the parts kept apart?
They are written into one STL, in the places they had on the build plate.
Does it read 3MF from any slicer?
It reads the 3MF core model: meshes, components and build items. Slicer-only extras in the file are ignored.
