GLB to USDZ converter
Apple devices show 3D in AR from a USDZ file. Drop a GLB and get a USDZ to put on a web page or send in a message.
Accepts
GLB 3D model (.glb), glTF 3D model (.gltf, with its .bin and pictures). Other file types are not converted on this page.
How to convert
- Drop the .glb, or the .gltf with its files.
- Meshes, metal and roughness materials and their textures are written. Animations, points and lines are left out.
- After converting, the status line gives the triangle and vertex counts, the size, and what the new format could not hold.
Your files stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded: the conversion runs in your browser, and the file is never sent to ITpris Verktyg or to any other server.
Questions
Will the animation play?
No. The USDZ writer does not write animation, so the model is still, in the pose it stands in.
How do I view it?
Open the .usdz on an iPhone or iPad, or link to it from a web page; Safari opens it in AR Quick Look.
Are the files uploaded?
No. The conversion happens in your browser.
